Nicky Hilton Photos

In 2005, Nicky Hilton, along with Kimberly Stewart, was the face of Australian underwear line Antz Pantz. Stewart remains contracted, however Hilton has since been replaced by Australian up-and-coming model Megan Maitland. Around this time, Hilton modeled for the cover of Lucire magazine for its New Zealand and Romanian editions.

    Figure study

This was a warm-up study for a painting. The underlying sketch was drawn in about a minute or thereabouts from a live model. Worked over it a few weeks later and again, a couple of days after that. Something I recommend trying if you have drawings you’re not that happy with. If you don’t really like them in the first place, you’ve got nothing to loose by adding to them, overlaying or just scribbling to see what happens.

Day 74 (1/18/10): Dear Catastrophe Waitress

I decided to watch the Jets game at a local pub. Dollar drafts and 25cent wings enticed me to leave the confines of my apartment. But, since none of my friends really give quite a damn about the Jets, I couldn’t convince anybody to tag along for more than twenty or so minutes. So I sat there and worked up a healthy stack of napkins, watching the game.  I don’t even remember how I started talking to this severely displeased waitress. She didn’t like football, and more so, she didn’t like waiting tables during the football game. Mostly because the bar was more crowded than the restaurant and she would still have to give part of her tips to the Bartender, not vice-versa.

She said the light at the end of the tunnel was coming though, as she was getting out as soon as her last table left.  She kept coming by the bar to make small talk, while her table chatted and chatted. She smiled at me and told me that she was jealous and to grab her a beer. I smiled and said sure. When I saw her go into the kitchen, after her table had gone I had figured she would come back out.  Ten minutes go by. Fifteen. Twenty….no sign of her. I ask her coworker if she was still there. He said she left, and I stared at the Killians I had ordered for her before quickly downing it and heading out of there.

    Day 70 (1/14/10): Aisle 7

I always joke to female friends that they could easily pick up guys at the Supermarket. I also, have seen way too many sitcoms where such market happenstances occur. And then I came across Natalie.  Tightly pulled back ponytail, yoga pants, and an over-sized hoodie, and making possibly the biggest mistake of her day. She reached for the big jar of mayo. You may think I’m just a tad neurotic about condements, but I have a steadfast hatred for the big jar of mayo.  I just let out a simple, “Really?”

She looked around, and was immediately panicked.  I then asked her why on earth she would spend time with a knife awkwardly scooping and digging out mayo that was invariably going to get on her hands, when a mere foot away was the squeeze mayo.  She laughed, and I continued on that I was deathly serious. I told her that I had literally gotten into arguments about that.  We talked a little bit before I went for it. And I was shot down. Hard. She mentioned a boyfriend that may or may not have been fictitious. I’d say the boy-hoodie was an indication, but she could have saved that as a remnant of a doomed relationship from six years ago.  I did, however, convince her to check out with the squeeze mayo.

The Men and Women Behind the Curtain

LAL had the privilege of chatting with WUKY’s Nick Lawrence on Curtains @ 8 tonight about QX.net Nude 2010. We had some great introductions to pieces in this year’s exhibit as well as some interesting discussion about figurative art.

Artist Ashley Watson explains her work and inspiration to Nick Lawrence.

Thanks SO MUCH to Boris Zakic and Esther Randall, QX.net Nude selection committee members, and Ashley Watson, artist accepted to the exhibit, for representing LAL and speaking so eloquently about the exhibit and the visual arts. Also, thanks to Nick Lawrence for being such a great host… and for that voice that melts chocolate.

    Nine Nudes by Doyle

Ok. so I don’t have any real time for this blog today. No time to write some wry, insightful essay about my past, where I used to live, where I live now, or about how wonderful or awful Flickr is, was, or will be…

But I sure don’t want my daily hit count to drop! No! So here’s a quick cut and past post featuring nine big busted nude ladies photographed by Doyle Wesley Walls:

Day 64 (1/8/10): Tiny Dogs, Sad Songs, and (of course) Scotch

I am dog sitting for the weekend. Lucky for me there are coffee houses that don’t just allow dogs, nay, they relish in inviting four legged friends into their establishments.  N0w, I don’t know if you are familiar with Shelties, but they are essentially Collie’s but shrunk down. And if there is something the women tend to fawn over, it’s tiny dogs. I walked this dog a few blocks, and was at the coffee house for a few hours and they were all over him, and through the transitive property, me. This is how I came to encounter Emily. Emily with her tight ponytail, blonde locks, and brown eyes. The first words I heard out of her were a few octaves higher than her regular voice. We struck up a conversation about the dog, and it didn’t take me very long before I procured a number, and vague talk of plans later, as we both had a free Friday night.

And then I took a nice long walk in cold killing a few smokes. I suddenly fell very still and decided to treat myself to a rather expensive bottle of scotch. The liquor store clerk found the dog decidedly not-so-cute, and told me to keep him outside. I tied him up, while keeping an ever watchful eye, procured the scotch, and walked back to my apartment.  I always found a quiet indignity in drinking alone, and after a few hours of perusing the internet, twittering, and three old fashioneds full of scotch, I called Nicole and drunkenly asked her to come over.

She wasn’t so pleased with the drinking. I tried to lie, but she could smell it in my slurs, and my over anxiousness to have her come over. She just sighed disappointment and I felt a little ashamed of myself.  Not just ashamed but small.  I quietly and succinctly apologized. She told me it was okay, and for that moment I had to believe her. She told me she’d talk to me in the morning, and that it was fine, and I should just get some sleep.  I hung up.

And then I called Kara. Straight to  voicemail. And then I called Taylor. Again, voicemail. I was batting a thousand before I called Emily. Two and a half rings, and I hung up. I filled up my glass, put on some music and sat and read on my couch with the dog at my feet.

    Day 60 (1/4/10): Shop Girl

Kara somehow conned me into going shopping with promises of burritos and Coronas at Harry’s, and I foolishly believed her. She even offered to pay. I should have known better… or at least upped my fee. So I got dragged across the Upper West side for a few hours, with no black beans in sight.  She dragged me to Urban Outfitters and I was starting to get impatient. She kissed my cheek and promptly told me to shut up.  It was then when a shop girl came up and asked if me or my girlfriend needed any help. Kara promptly  corrected her adding in that I was a smart, cute, funny, charming, available guy.   There was an awkward silence, which I broke by saying, “She never said I was a great conversationalist.”, which broke ice and eased tension.  This was when Kara asked to borrow Jess’s phone.

She fiddled with it for a few moments and handed it back to her, before saying, “There you have his number, now call him.”  She took dialed me almost immediately, and we both just kind of laughed at the awkwardness of the situation, and Kara vanished.  I apologized for her, and the girl introduced herself as Jess.  We talked for a bit until I realized that Kara had completely left the store…and turned her phone off. I was pissed, and Jess noticed. She meekly mentioned how she was out of work in fifteen minutes, if I wanted to stick around.

Thirty minutes later, she actually got out, and we went to get burritos… I may have been on an unexpected date, but I was still intent on sour cream & Jack cheese.  There were a lot of awkward pauses and lots of joking about Kara.  She kept saying how she still couldn’t believe the boldness of her, and I just said, “Yeah, it’s been years and neither can I.” And she asked how I was available, and I mentioned that I was kind of labellessly seeing someone, and trying to play the field.  She just joked that she was a notch on the bedpost. “No, not the bedpost, the sofa at least.” She laughed, and I thought about how that technically wasn’t that far off. She was just 60 of 100, or whatever the actual number is at this point.

    Photoshop Phantasies

We all love sexy women, right?

Ok, some of prefer sexy boys (not that’s there anything wrong with that!!)

Anyway, back to the point. We all love a sexy woman. But what if we’d like to change her a little bit (or a lot), or change the background, or add something, or someone, to the photo?

Why we then just Photoshop! Cover up her tattoo or giver her a sword and a snake and put her in an enchanted forest….

Flickr Photoshop artists know how to blend sexy women, sex and fantasy. Here, in this Flickr gallery, are some of the magical results:

Trio sex turns into a lesbian sex brawl

In Australia: A Sydney public school teacher’s assistant has appeared in court following a sex scandal with her lesbian lover.

Nepean High School teacher’s assistant Sharron Anne Lee, 40, was involved in a threesome at a drunken New Year’s Eve sex party which later descended into a brawl.

Parramatta Bail Court heard yesterday that Lee, a teacher’s assistant, had fought with her girlfriend of three years, Carlie-Anne Bell, from Glenmore Park, in her bedroom while the man they had picked up at the Penrith Panthers club, Nikola Murgevski, watched on horrified.

The three had continued partying at Rooty Hill RSL before retiring to Lee’s bedroom after playing “strip pool” in Lee’s backyard, the court heard.

Court documents said the fight had begun because Bell was upset that Lee was having sex with a man, Murgevski.

The alleged attack saw Bell hospitalised with a tear to her bowel lining and severe bleeding.

Bell was rushed to Nepean Hospital where she was expected to undergo surgery.

The Court heard Lee was a teacher’s assistant at the school in an “Aboriginal program” Department of Education spokesman Mark Davis refused to say whether Lee would be suspended.

“At this stage we wouldn’t have any comment to make on the situation with the teacher,” he said. “We’d await the outcome of the court proceedings.”

It is not known if Lee’s child was home. Lee was charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm. Police prosecutor Kristy Madden said the charges related to “an unusual set of circumstances” and the facts read “horrifically”.

Lee was refused bail and will appear before Mount Druitt Local Court on January 11.

    Tomas Rucker

Tomas Rucker focused on photography after several years of figural drawing. In his own words… I started to emphasize perspective, depth and lighting until my drawings began to resemble nude photography. My favorite aspect of studio nude is the full control photographer has over whole scene which is projected into the work. While working on location, I am on the contrary trying to improvise and utilize the lighting and posing to match the overall atmosphere of the environment. I prefer to work with less formally experienced models and I base our co-operation on good and close interpersonal interaction rather than formal posing during the shooting. I tend to work with my models on a long-term basis in order to develop spontaneous co-operation and trust. I don´t feel to be influenced by any current commercial streams and photographers nor do I feel to be bound by strict technical limitations. But I think that words are unnecesaary – better see the photos!

Oh go on then have a look…
